Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups medium shell macaroni
- 1 lb. polish sausage
- 6 slices bacon
- 2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
- 8 tsp. sugar
- 3 tsp. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
- 2/3 cup water
- 4 tbsp. vinegar
- 2 tbsp. parsley
Preparation
Step 1
Cook macaroni according to pkg. directions
Slice sausage into 1/2" slices.
In large skillet cook bacon until crisp, drain, reserve 1 tbsp. drippings in skillet.
Crumble bacon, set aside.
Cook mushrooms in drippings until tender. Stir in sugar, flour, salt and pepper. Stir in water and vinegar. Cook until thick and bubbly.
Cook about 1 min, stirring constantly. Stir in sausage and heat. Stir in macaroni, bacon and parsley.
Heat thoroughly and serve.
