  • 2 lbs. ground beef
  • 2 cans of tomato soup
  • 1 cup minute rice
  • 1 envelope dry onion soup mix
  • 4 TBLS. brown gravy mix or 1 envelope
  • medium size head of cabbage, cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 3 (tomato soup) cans of water

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Brown ground beef and drain off any excess fat. Add the 2 cans of soup, 3 cans of water, rice, soup mix, and gravy mix. Cook until it comes to a slow boil.
Grease or spray with nonstick pan spray, a 9x13 baking dish. Add all the cut cabbage to the prepared pan, (it will be very full). Carefully and slowly, pour the beef mixture over top of the cabbage. It will seem like you can't use all of it, but DO.
Cover tightly with foil and bake for 1 1/2 to 2 hours, until the cabbage is tender.
