Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground chuck
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 medium green pepper, chopped
- 1 6 oz. can tomato paste
- 1 14.5 oz. can diced tomatoes
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 t. thyme
- 2 pinches crushed rosemary
- 1/2 t. pepper or lemon pepper
- 1/2 t. celery salt
- salt to taste
- garlic salt to taste
- 1 T. worcestershire
- 1 7oz. package spaghetti
- parmesan cheese, freshly grated
Preparation
Step 1
Brown meat over low heat. Add onion and bell pepper, saute, and drain well. Place in heavy saucepan and add tomato paste, tomatoes, and seasonings. Simmer at least 1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally. Add all salt during last 1/2 hour.
Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Top with sauce and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
Note: This recipe may be doubled or tripled. If tripled, increase cooking time to 2 1/2 hours or more.
