Mac and Cheese- Jo's

Ingredients

  • ● 2 cup macaroni, cooked and drained
  • ● 2 tbsp butter crisco, or crisco and butter divided into 2 tbsp
  • ● 2 tbsp flour
  • ● 1 cup milk
  • ● 1 lb. velveeta cheese, cut into slices to melt faster
  • ● bread crumbs
  • ● dry parmesan cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350℉.
Melt crisco/butter and add flour to make paste.
Slowly add milk, constantly stirring. Let thicken.
Add cheese, stir til melted.
Mix with macaroni.
Pour into greased casserole dish.
Put on very light layer of bread crumbs and then a light layer of parmesan cheese.
Bake for 40-50 min.
