JELEPENO CHEESE DIP
- 1 stick butter
- 8 T flour
- 3 t ground mustrd
- 2 t chili powder
- 1 t cumin seeds
- 2 T catsup
- 2 t pepper sauce (from can of jalepeno peppers)
- 4 c milk
- 1 jalapeno pepper
- 12 oz grated processed cheese (American or velvetta)
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped ( or powder)
Cook butter and flour over low heat, 1 min. Add mustard, chili powder, cumin seeds, catsup and pepper sauce. Mix well and add remaining ingredients. Cook mixture over low heat until thick, stirring constantly to avoid lumping.
More jalepeno pepper and sauce may be added to make a hotter dip.
