Cheeseburger Sliders

By

Pretty simple way to make a big dish of sliders that anyone would love. My kids go nuts for these and take the leftovers to school in their lunches. A win for the whole family.

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 350°F.

Combine the Beef, Salt, Pepper, Garlic and Onion Powders in a bowl. Mix it thoroughly (I do this by hand, but whatever you prefer).

Spray a casserole dish (9x13-inch or whatever fits your Rolls) with non-stick spray and mash the Beef mixture into the entire dish. Make sure it's good and packed in; you're making a giant Beef patty and if it's 'loose' it will crumble apart. Bake for 20 minutes. If you want grilled onions, sauté them in 2 Tablespoons of Butter while the Beef cooks (they're delicious by the way).

Slice the rolls in half without separating. You should have a sheet of tops and a sheet of bottoms.

When the beef is done, remove from the casserole dish and drain all excess fat. I wipe it out with a paper towel, but you can leave a 'sheen' of grease in there as your non-stick. If you do wipe it out, spray with non-stick spray once again.

Put the bottom sheet of rolls into the dish, place the Beef patty next, then top with your cheese(s) and grilled onions if desired. Finally, place the top sheet of Rolls and brush with the melted Butter. Sprinkle Sesame seeds if desired and return to the oven for another 15 to 20 minutes, or until golden brown.

Remove from oven and slice into individual sliders and chomp!
