Zucchini - Side Dish

This is a great side dish for any type of meat or poultry. The ingredients give it an Italian flair and it's just yummy and easy to prepare.

    large onion, thinly sliced

    tsp onion salt

  • ¼

    tsp dried oregano

  • 1

    can (8 ounce) tomato sauce)

  • 1

    cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 2

    tbsp butter

  • 4

    medium zucchini, slice ¼" thick


Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Melt the butter and sauce the zucchini and onion until tender. Add the onion salt, oregano, and tomato sauce. Pour the mixture into a 1 1/2 quart shallow casserole. Top with mozzarella cheese. Bake for 30 minutes.
