Cherry Crisp

A delicious crunchy oat-nut topping for a can of cherry pie filling. You can whip one up in minutes.

  • 1

    (21 oz.) can cheery pie filling

  • ¾

    t. ground cinnamon

  • ½

    c. all-purpose flour

  • ¾

    t. ground nutmeg

  • ½

    c rolled oats

  • ¼

    c. chopped pecans

  • c. brown sugar

  • c. melted margarine


1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease a 2 qt. baking dish. Pour pie filling into the dish and spread evenly. 2. In a medium bowl, mix together the flour, oats, sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. Mix in melted margarine. Spread over pie filling and sprinkle with chopped pecans. 3. Bake in preheated over for 30 minutes or until topping is golden brown. Allow to cool 15 minutes before serving.
