  • 10 ea Spareribs any kind of ribs will work
  • 1/2 cup Soy sauce
  • 10 cloves Garlic crushed
  • 1 tblspoons Rosemary
  • 1 tblspoons Oregano
  • 2 ea Bay leaf
  • 1 ea Lime juiced
  • 1 tblspoons Parsley
  • 1 ea Pepper to taste
  • 2 ea Limes cut into wedges


Preparation time 15mins
Cooking time 75mins


Step 1

Cut up the ribs.

Put all the ribs into a big pot.

Cover the ribs with just enough water to cover them.

Add to the pot: soy sauce, garlic, rosemary, oregano, bay leaves, lim juice and 3/4 of the parsley

Bring to a boil

Simmer uncovered over medium heat until the water has completely evaporated - 30 to 60 minutes maybe

When all the water is gone, remove the bay leaves

Keep cooking, allowing the ribs to brown, turning occasionally

Scrape up the bits at the bottom and toss them with the ribs as you turn them

Remove the meat an drain on paper towels

Season with black pepper and garish with lime wedges and remaining parlsley.
