  • 1 Pkg. yeast
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 T. sugar
  • 2 1/4 cups flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 T. shortening (crisco)



Step 1

Dissolve yeast in water. Add sugar, 1/2 of flour, and salt. Stir. Add egg and shortening. Mix well. Add rest of flour and stir well. Let sit for about 1 hr or until doubled. Stir it down. spoon into greased muffin pans. Let rise again. Bake at 350 for 10-15 min.
