3-4 lb corned beef brisket
small head of cabbage. cut into 3 wedges
med. carrots, peeled and cut into 2 inch pieces
med. onion, quartered
med. yellow potatoes, cut into 2 inch pieces
Trim fat from brisket. Sprinkle spices from packet evenly over meat; rub in with your fingers. Place cabbage, carrots, onion, and potatoes in the slow cooker. pour water over vegetables. Top with brisket. Cover and cook on low for 10 - 12 hours or high for 5-6 hours. Makes 6 servings.
