Shrimp - Bacon Wrapped BBQ

Ingredients

  • 12 pieces jumbo shrimp, deveined in shell, raw (if frozen thawed)
  • 1 package bacon
  • 1/2 cup prepared BBQ sauce
  • 12 each toothpicks
  • 1 dash salt and pepper
  • 12 pieces fresh pineapple chunks to garnish

Preparation

Step 1

Pat excess moisture from shrimp.
Wrap slice of bacon around shrimp and place a toothpick in the center to hold together
Sprinkle shrimp with salt and pepper and brush lightly with BBQ sauce and place on grill.
Cook 2 minutes each side (or until bright pink shell and shrimp is opaque), repeating application of BBQ sauce.
Serve hot with fresh pineapple chunks as garnish.
