Ingredients

  • DRESSING:
  • 2 lbs.cooked shrimp
  • 3 avocados
  • 2 small red onions, sliced very thinly
  • 1 c. oil
  • 1 c. wine vinegar
  • 1/2 c. lemon juice
  • 1 T salt
  • 1 T cilantro
  • 4 t. sugar
  • 2 t. dried oregano
  • 1 t. dried thyme
  • 1 t. dry mustard
  • 1/2 t. minced garlic
  • 1/4 t. pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Combine all with 1/2 c water. Whisk until thick. Cover shrimp mixture and chill overnight.
Makes 24 appetizers or 8 as a salad.
