Ingredients

    lb butter or margarine

    c sugar

  • 4

    eggs

  • 1

    tsp vanilla

  • 1

    can chocolate syrup

  • 1

    c plus 1 T flour

  • 1/2

    c chopped nuts (optional)

  • 1/4

    tsp baking powder

  • Frosting:

  • 6

    T margarine

  • 6

    T milk

  • 1 1/2

    c sugar

  • 1/2

    c chocolate chips

Directions

Cream together butter, sugar, and eggs. Add other ingredients and mix. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Prepare frosting by bringing margarine, milk, and sugar to a boil for approximately 30 seconds; add ½ c chocolate chips. Beat well. Spread on brownies while still hot.
