Ingredients
- 7 1/2 oz. can of crabmeat
- 10 oz. cheddar cheese
- 8 oz. processed American cheese
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1/2 cup sauterne
Preparation
Step 1
Shred the crabmeat. Cut the cheese into cubes. Put the cheese into a saucepan with the butter and wine. Simmer over low heat until the cheese melts. Stir in the crabmeat and heat thoroughly.
Turn into a preheated chafing dish and serve piping hot, with chunks of crusty French bread, allowing the guests to dip their own.
