Ingredients

  • 1 lb. minute steak
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 1/2 t. salt
  • 1/2 t. pepper
  • 2 T. vegetable oil
  • 2 - 8 oz. cans tomato sauce
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 T. butter
  • 1 1/2 t. beef-flavored bouillon granules
  • 2 t. browning & seasoning sauce

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Trim excess fat from steak and cut into serving size pieces. Combine flour, salt and pepper. Dredge steak in flour mixture. Brown steak in hot oil in a skillet. Place browned steak into a shallow 2 qt. casserole dish

Combine tomato sauce, water, butter, bouillon and browning and seasoning sauce in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat until bouillon dissolves. Pour sauce over meat. Cover casserole and bake for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
