Chicken Biscuit Stew

Ingredients

  • 1/4 c margarine
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Dash of pepper
  • 1 1/3 cup chicken broth
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 cup cubed chicken
  • 1/3 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup cooked peas
  • 1 cup cooked carrots
  • 1 can biscuits

Preparation

Step 1

Melt margarine; blend in flour, salt and pepper. Add broth and milk. Cook, stirring till thickened. Add chicken, onion, peas and carrots; simmer till bubbly. Separate biscuits and arrange over chicken mixture. Sprinkle with poppy seeds. Bake 20 to 25 minutes at 375 degrees.
