Peanut Butter Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 graham cracker crust
  • 1/2 c. semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 T butter
  • 1/4 c. powdered sugar
  • 1-3 T water
  • 1 c. butter
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. peanut butter (creamy)
  • 12 oz. cool whip (thawed)
  • 1/2 c. semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 2-3 T milk
  • 1 1/2 tsp. light corn syrup
  • 2 T butter

Preparation

Step 1

Melt together 1/2 c. chocolate chips, 2 T butter, 1/4 c. powdered sugar and 2-3 T water. Pour over crust and refrigerate. Melt together 1 c. butter and 1 c. brown sugar. Refrigerate for 10 minutes. Add to brown sugar mixture 1 c. peanut butter and cool whip. Beat peanut butter in first and then cool whip. Pour into crust and refrigerate.
Topping:
Melt 1/2 c. chocolate chips, 2-3 T milk, 2 T butter and 1 1/2 tsp. corn syrup. Spread over pie and refrigerate.
