- 1 20 oz. pkg frozen shredded potatoes, thawed
- 1/2 tsp garlic salt
- 1-1/2 c. water, divided
- Dash of pepper
- 1 8-oz. container of toasted onion chip dip
- 1/2 c. minced dry onion
- 1 8 oz. package of shredded cheddar cheese
Combine potatoes, garlic salt, 1 c. water and pepper, and place in slow cooker. Set on high or low depending on your preference. Takes about 4 hours on high. Hydrate minced onion in 1/2 c. water. Combine and stir in chip dip and cheese into the mixture. Cook another 30 - 45 minutes.
