Easy Granola Bars

Ingredients

  • 2 C. rolled oats
  • 1/2 C. wheat germ
  • 1 C. sliced almonds
  • 1/2 C. semi-sweet chips
  • 1/2 C. dried cranberries or cherries
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk

Preparation

Step 1

Adjust oven rack to lower middle position and preheat to 325. Grease a 9" square baking pan with cooking spray. For easy removal line with foil first. ( don't forget to spray!) Mix all ingredients in in a medium bowl. Turn into prepared pan and pat down firmly to pack. Bake until golden brown about 30 mins. Cool to room temp. then put pan in the freezer. When bar is firm, remove from pan and cut into bars. Can store for a week in airtight container or can be frozen.
