(32oz) frozen southern style diced hash brown potatoes thawed
c (12oz bag) frozen chopped onion thawed
medium stalk celery diced
oz chicken broth
oz shredded american cheddar cheese blend
c real bacon pieces
medium green onions sliced
In a 3-4qt slow cooker, mix potatoes, onion, celery, broth, and water. Cover and cook on low heat setting 6-8 hours. In a small mixing bowl, mix flour into milk. Stir into potato mixture. increase heat to high setting. Cover and cook 20-30 minutes or until mixture thickens. Stir in cheese until melted. Garnish individual servings with bacon and green onions. Sprinkle with pepper if desired.
