Bread Machine Cinnamon Rolls

Ingredients

  • Sugar/Cinnamon mixture:
  • Dough mixture: add in order listed
  • 3/4 cup of milk plus 2 Tbsp
  • 1 egg
  • 3 cups flour
  • 3 Tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 4 Tbsp butter (softened) cut into 8 pcs around the outside of bread pan.
  • add 1 1/2 tsps active dry yeast
  • Spread 4 tbsps of butter at room temperature...to spread over dough.
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsps of cinnamon
  • Glaze:
  • 2 ozs cream cheese, softened
  • 7 Tbsps butter, softened
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 Tbsps milk
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Preparation

Step 1

Grease a 9x13 pan.

place Dough ingredients in bread machine, and use dough button.

Knead by hand a few times and let dough rest on counter for about 15 minutes before rolling. Roll out to a 15x10 rectangle. Spread 4 Tbsp of room temperature out onto dough leaving a border.

Sprinkle sugar/cinnamon filling over buttered dough.

Start rolling rectangle from the long end. Close the seams by pinching them together and tuck in the ends.

Cut roll in half, then into quarters and then each quarter into 3 pieces. Making a total of 12 pieces and place in greased 9x13 pan. Let rise about 40 -45 minutes, covered with a cloth in a cool oven with the light on.

Bake at 375 for 20-25 minutes. Add glaze.

To make glaze: Beat cream cheese and butter with an electric mixer. Add vanilla and milk, add powdered sugar and salt and mix till combined.
