cups fresh basil leaves
good sized garlic cloves, peeled
cup shelled walnuts or ¼ cup pine nuts
cup olive oil
cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper, to taste
1.Combine basil, garlic and walnuts in the bowl of a food processor and chop. 2.Leave the motor running and add the olive oil in a slow, steady stream. 3.Shut the motor off and add the cheese, pinch of salt and pepper. Process briefly to combine, then scrape out of the bowl and cover until ready to use.
