Ingredients

  • 4 racks of ribs ( 1 rack per person)
  • 1 liter coke
  • 1 liter pineapple juice
  • 1 C. brown sugar
  • BBQ SAUCE
  • 2 large onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 small can tomatoe paste
  • 2 TB. olive oil
  • 2 TB. worceshire sauce
  • 1 TB. Dijon mustard
  • 1 C balsamic vinegar
  • 1/2 ts. cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 ts. black pepper
  • 1/2 C. lemon juice

Step 1


Boil ribs in coke mixuture for 1 hour. Don't throw away the liquid.

Grill the ribs 5-10 minutes on both sides.

Sauce: saute onions, garlic, bell pepper in oil for 5 minutes. Add tomatoe paste and 3 Cups of the liquid, add worcestershire sauce, mustard, vinegar and spices. Let boil until thick like BBQ sauce add lemon juice at the end.. if you want it sweeter add brown sugar.

Dip ribs in sauce and grill for another 5-10 minutes.
