- Pour remaining batter over the jam and smooth the top.

Step 1
Set rack in middle of oven; preheat oven to 350. Butter a 10" bunt pan and lightly dust inside with flour. Cream together sugar and butter until light and fluffy. Add eggs, blending well, and then add sour cream and vanilla. Mix until combined.
In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gently fold flour mixture into the batter. Reserve 1/2 cup of batter and mix with 3/4 of jar of blueberry jam. Set aside.
Pour 3/4 remaining batter into the prepared pan and create a slight "trough" through the batter with a spatula. Gently spoon the blueberry mix into the batter "trough".
