Ingredients

  • 2 Tbs. butter
  • 1 large red onion, thiny sliced ( about 2 C.)
  • 1 package McCormick Grill Mates Backyard Brew marinade, divided
  • 1/4 tsp. Mc Cormick Gourmet Collection Chipolte Chile Pepper
  • 1/3 C. plus 2 Tbs. beer, divided
  • 1 Tbs. light brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. worcestershire sauce.
  • 1.5 lbs. ground beef
  • 6 slices Swiss cheese
  • 6 hamburger rolls
  • Lettuce, tomato, other condiments (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

Melt butter in skillet. Add onions, 1 tsp. of marinade mix and chipolte pepper; cook and stir 7-8 mins or until onions are golden brown. Add 2 Tbs. brown sugar and beer; cook and stir unitl beer has evaporated; set aside. Mix remaining marinade mix, 1/3 C. beer, and Worcestershire sauce in large bowl until blended. Add beef and mix. Shape into patties. Grill. until desired doness. Toast buns on grill. Serve burgers on toasted buns topped with onions and whatever condimetns youlike.
