Brood Poeding

Ingredients

  • thin slices buttered bread
  • 50 g raisens
  • 1 egg
  • 500 ml milk
  • 12.5 ml sugar
  • 2 ml nutmeg/cinnamon

Preparation

Step 1

1. Cut bread into 1/4s arrange in layers in a buttered pie-dish.

2. Sprinkle raisins on top.

3. Beat egg and mix with milk.

4. Add sugar and spice and a little salt, mix and pour over bread allow to soak for 1/2 hour place in another pan containing water..and bake for 3/4- 1 hour..until pudding is brown and set..
