Ingredients

  • 1 box German Chocolate cake mix
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 package, 14 oz, Kraft caramels
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 package, 6 oz, semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • peanuts

Preparation

Step 1

Mix cake according to package directions. Pour 1/2 the cake mixture in a greased 9X13 pan. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes.

Meanwhile, melt butter, caramels and milk in double boiler. Pour over baked cake.

Sprinkle chocolate chips and peanuts over top.

Spread remaining cake mixture over top and bake at 250 for 20 minutes. Bake at 350 for another 15 minutes.
