Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1-1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • Store-bought cinnamon-sugar blend, for rolling

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350°F. Cream the butter and sugar. Add the eggs, one at a time, then add the vanilla. Mix in the flour and baking powder. Chill.

Mold the dough into cookie-sized balls, then roll the dough in the cinnamon-sugar blend. Flatten the dough slightly with the bottom of a drinking glass. Bake for 10 — 12 minutes on an ungreased cookie sheet.
