Salsa Verde

This recipe was given to me by my neice who got it from her fiance's family. She lives in Florida and his family is Mexican.

Ingredients

  • 5 Tomatillias
  • 2 Jalapenos
  • 1/2 Onion
  • 1 Clove Garlic
  • a handful of Cilantro
  • 1 can Chicken Broth
  • 3 limes

Preparation

Step 1

Boile Tomatillias until skin cracks and bubbles appear on skin. Combine tomatillias and jalapenos in a food processor. Pulse then add onion garlic cilantro and chicken broth. Heat through. Pour over tortillias generously. Sprinkle with lime juice and cheese just before serving.
