Gingerbread Cookie Dough

Gingerbread Cookie Dough 0 Picture


  • 3 c flour
  • 2 t ground ginger
  • 1 t ground cinnamon
  • 1 t baking soda
  • 1/4 t ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 t salt
  • 3/4 c butter soft
  • 3/4 c packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 c molasses
  • 1 egg



Step 1

Mix flour, ginger, cinnamon, baking soda, nutmeg, and salt in large bowl. Beat butter and brown sugar in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed till fluffy. Add molasses and egg. Beat well. Gradually beat in flour mixture on low speed. Press dough into thick flat disk. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate 4 hours or overnight. Use for gingerbread man cookies or roll into 1 inch balls and roll in sugar. Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes. Press a white and milk chocolate swirl kiss into center.
