denise's almond chocolate covered toffee

Ingredients

• 1 1/2 cup sugar
• 2 sticks butter
• 3 T. water
• 1 T light corn syrup
• 1 t. vanilla
• 2 cup chocolate chips
• 1 cup almonds

Preparation

Step 1

loightly grease 13x9 pan.. in med pan over med heat, bring sugar , butter, water and corn syrup to boil without stirring until 300-..
remove from heat , stir in vanilla..pour into pan..let cool 2 min.. sprinkle chips over and wait 2 min till melted and shiny..spread..sprinkle nuts and press into toffee
