Baked Beans

Ingredients

  • 8 slices bacon, cut into 1/2" pieces
  • 2 (16 oz. cans) of pork and beans
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 3 tbsp. Dijon mustard
  • 1 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice

Preparation

Step 1

In a medium skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until crisp. Remove from skillet and drain on paper towels. Preheat oven to 350. Rinse and drain one can of Pork and beans. In a Dutch oven, combine rinsed beans and all remaining ingredients. Top bean mixture with cooked bacon. Cover and bake for 45-60 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
