Brread Pudding

  • 1 quart day old white bread cubes
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 3 eggs,slightly beaten
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 3 eggs milk

Preparation

Step 1

Put bread and raisins in greased in groubd 2-quart casserole.Combine eggs,sugar,cinnamon and salt;stit in milk.Pour over bread,raisins ans stir.Let stand about 5 muntes so bread absorbs some liquid.Set casserole in shallow pan on oven rack and add hot water to pan to about 1-inch depth.Bake in 350* oven 1 hour 45 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
