Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup peanut oil
  • 1/2 cup chunky peanut butter
  • 1/2 sugar
  • 1.5 tsp cayene (+/- to taste)
  • 4 tsp minced garlic (+/- to taste)
  • 4 tsp sesame oil
  • coconut milk (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

Make a paste pounding garlic and cayene with pinch of salt.

Heat peanut oil over moderate heat and add spice paste and cook till aromatic.

Add sugar and cook until sugar starts to melt; stir continuously. Add peanut butter and cook/stir until well blended and glossy in color.

Can add optional Coconut milk at this point and heat through.

Remove from heat and stir in sesame oil.

Approx. 1 pint.
