Ingredients
- prepare Apples
- 5 - 6 Granny Smith Apples (small to Medium)
- Peel, core and slice apples
- mix apples with 1 cup sugar, 1 tablespoon of cinnamon, pinch of lemon
- Prepare Topping
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 stick of cold butter - cut in slices
- Combine topping ingredients in a bowl with pastry cutter
- Add 1 slightly beaten egg to topping mixture
- Pour Apple mixture in an 8"x8" baking pan; the pour topping on apple mixture
- Bake at 450 for 10 minutes and then bake at 350 for 35minutes.
