Ingredients
- 14 oz. can of sweetened condensed milk
- 3 cups coarsely chopped pecans
- wax paper
- 1 1/2 lb, vanilla or chocolate candy coating
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake pecans in a single layer 8 - 10 minutes. Line a 15.10" jelly roll pan with wax paper. Lightly grease wax paper. Microwave candy coating and condensed milk and salt in 2 qt. microwave safe bowl on high for 3 - 5 minutes, stirring at 1 minute intervals. Stir until smooth, then stir in vanilla and pecans. Spread in an even layer in prepared jelly roll pan. Cover and chill 2 hours. Turn candy out onto cutting board and cut into squares. Store, covered, at room temperature.
