- 1 C butter
- 1 1/2 C confectioners sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 t vanilla
- 1/2 t almond extract
- 2 1/2 C flour
- 1 t baking soda
- 1 t cream of tartar

Step 1
Cream butter and sugar. Add egg, vanilla and extract. Combine dry ingredients and gradually add to creamed mixture.
Roll dough out flat and use cookie cutter to shape for baking. Sprinkle with additional sugar after transferring to cookie sheet.
Bake 375 deg 7-8 mins.
