Ingredients
- 9 inch pie pastry shell
- 2/3 c. flour
- 1/3 c. brown sugar
- 1/3 c. butter
- 2 lb. applies
- 1 T. lemon juice
- 2 T. flour
- 3/4 c. sugar
- Dash salt
- 1 t. cinnamon

Preparation
Step 1
Prepare pie shell.
For topping: combine flour and sugar in med bowl.
With pastry blender or 2 knives, cut in butter until mixture is consistency of coarse cornmeal. Refrigerate.
Make filling: core & pare apples. Combine flour, sugar, salt, and cinnamon. Toss lightly with apples.
Turn filling into pie shell. Cover with topping.
Bake at 400 degrees for 40 to 50 min.
