Baked Cinnamon Raisin French Toast

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf cinnamon raisin bread
  • 9 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup maple or table syrup
  • 1-2 tsp cinnamon
  • 8 oz whipped cream cheese

Preparation

Step 1

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
2. Cube the bread. Combine eggs, syrup and cinnamon in a large bowl and whisk thoroughly
3. Spray a 13 x 9 inch pan with cooking spray. Spread half of the bread in the bottom of the pan. Drop tsp of cream cheese over layer of bread as evenly as possible
4. Spread remaining bread over top, making sure to cover as much of the cream cheese as possible. Pour egg mixture evenly over top. Sprinkle with additional cinnamon to taste
5. Bake uncovered 45-50 minutes
