Ingredients
- 1 yellow cake mix
- 2 cans crushed pineapple, drained well, reserving juice
- 1/2 box brown sugar
- 12 to 15 About 12 to 15 cherry halfs.
Preparation
Step 1
Drain pineapple, pressing out juice and reserving juice.
Grease sheet cake pan very well and sprinkle 1/2 box brown sugar on bottom. Sprinkle cherries on top of brown sugar. Spread crushed pineapple over this. Prepare cake mix using reserved pinepple juice instead of water as indicated in directions. Pour over ingredients in cake pan. Bake as directed on cake box.
Pour any reserved juice over cake after comes out of oven.
