Ingredients

    Cup Crisco

  • 1 1/2

    Cups Sugar

  • 2

    Eggs

  • 2 3/4

    Cups Flour

  • 1

    tsp. Baking Soda

  • 1

    tsp. Salt

  • 2

    tsp. Cream of Tartar

  • 2

    tsp. Sugar

  • 2

    tsp. Cinnamon

Directions

1. Mix Crisco and sugar well in a large bowl 2. Add eggs. Mix again. 3. In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt and cream of tartar. 4. Pour the flour mixture into the Crisco mixture and mix well. 5. Chill for one hour. 6. Roll into balls about the size of a small walnut. 7. Combine the 2 tsp. sugar and 2 tsp. cinnamon in a small bowl. 8. Roll the cookie dough balls in the sugar and cinnamon. Shake off excess coating. Make more sugar/ cinnamon mixture as needed. 9. Bake 8-12 minutes on an ungreased cookie sheet at 400 degrees.
