Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 tsp imitation maple flavoring
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • Confectioners sugar

Preparation

Step 1

1. In a bowl, combine brown sugar, butter and maple flavoring
2. Beat in the eggs, one at a time
3. Combine flour and baking powder, add to egg mixture. Stir in walnuts
4. Pour into a greased 9 inch square baking pan. Bake 350 degrees for 30 minutes until testing done. Cool. Dust with confectioners sugar if desired
