  • 1/4 cup palm shortening, unsalted grassfed butter, or ghee
  • 1 large egg at room temperature
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 3/4 teaspoons nutmeg
  • 1 cup blanched almond flour
  • 2 tablespoons coconut flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 2 teaspoons finely ground flax seeds*
  • 3/4 cup finely shredded coconut (I think Let’s Do Organic reduced fat is best for texture)
