Oil and Vinegar Coleslaw Dressing

This is Grandma Hutchison's coleslaw dressing recipe. We always had this coleslaw with ham & beans. Try it!

Ingredients

• 1 c. sugar
• 1 c. vinegar
• 3/4 c. corn oil, or preferred oil
• 1 t. salt
• 1 t. celery seed
• 1 t. mustard seed
• 1 medium cabbage, shredded

Preparation

Step 1

Bring sugar, vinegar, oil, salt, celery and mustard seeds to a boil and let cool.

Store in refrigerator and add to cabbage as needed.
