- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 tsp. garlic powder
- 2 tsp. dried oregano
- 1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 (12-oz.) bottle of beer
- 3 large onions, peeled, sliced into rings, and separated
- Oil for frying
- Dipping Sauce:
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 Tbsp. horseradish
- 1/4 tsp. paprika
- 1 tsp. fresh dill, chopped

Directions:
To prepare the onion rings, preheat the oil to 370°F. In a shallow bowl, combine the flour, egg, garlic powder, oregano, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Gradually add the beer, stirring until a thick batter forms. Dip the onions into the batter and deep-fry in batches until golden brown.
To prepare the sauce, combine all the ingredients in a small bowl. Serve with the onion rings.
