Jan's Some Love it Hot Chili

Ingredients

  • 2 (28 ounce) cans diced tomatoes with juice
  • 1/2 to 1 cup textured soy protein
  • 2 large onions, chopped
  • 2 large green peppers, chopped
  • 4 to 5 stalks celery, chopped
  • 1 can pinto beans with liquid
  • 1 can garbanzo beans with liquid
  • 1 can kidney beans with liquid
  • 1 tbsp whole cumin
  • 1 tbsp dried oregano
  • 4 to 6 tbsp chili powder
  • 2 to 4 dried chipotles
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder

Preparation

Step 1

Throw everything in a large pot. Bring it to a boil. Turn down the heat. Cover and simmer for about an hour until the vegetables are tender. Add salt to taste and sprinkle with your favorite vegan cheese.
