Frankfurter Casserole With Sauerkraut

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. sauerkraut
  • 2 c. beer (lager)
  • 2 lb. *Drier's* hot dogs
  • *Drier's* mustard

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Drain the sauerkraut and place it in a 12 x 9 x 2-inch baking casserole. Pour the beer over. Cover and bake for 1 1/2 hours. Uncover the casserole and place the frankfurters on top of the sauerkraut. Bake uncovered until the frankfurters look like they are about to split open (or are starting to split open), 25 to 30 minutes. Serve hot with the mustard on the side.
