Ingredients
- 1/4 c olive oil
- 4 c brussel sprouts trimmed and halved length
- 2 Tbsp water
- juice of lemon, about 1 Tbsp
Preparation
Step 1
In 12 inch skillet heat 3 tb of olive oil over medium heat. Arrange brussel sprouts in a single layer cut side down. Drizzle with remaining olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cover cook for 3 minutes. Remove lid & sprinkle sprouts with water. Cover & cook 2 more minutes. Sprouts should be just tender when pierced with a fork. and beginning to caramelize. Remove cover and increase heat slightly. When cut sides are well caramelized, toss sprouts in pan, drizzle with lemon juice and sprinkle with more salt and pepper to taste
