cup creamy peanut butter

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Place brown sugar, peanut butter, crisco, milk and vanilla in a large bowl. Beat at medium speed until well blended. Add egg, beat until blended. Combine flour, baking soda and salt. Add to mixture. Beat at low speed. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls 2" apart onto ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten dough with crisscross pattern with tines of a fork. Bake for approximately 10 minutes or until cookies are set and just beginning to brown. DO NOT OVER BAKE.
